Taylor wants to take advantage of the beautiful weather so she tried to get all of her homework done on the way home from school.  She was just finishing her math as we pulled in the driveway.

Thankfully, there isn't too much complaint when it comes time for homework.  These girls are all great students because they work really hard. They all have thier favorite spot to do homework.  Taylor is usually on the couch.  Payton takes her spot at the dining room table.  Hayden will do it most anywhere: coffee table, car, my bed, her bed, the floor, where ever.

{Knee Deep}

Wishing we were knee deep in the water some where.  But really we are knee deep in backpacks, lunchboxes, purses, cheer bags, etc. everytime we get in the car.

{Happy St. Patrick's Day}

Hayden didn't have any green on her dress so she wore a dollar bill folded into a ring.

We went to Mimi's for our usual Sunday dinner and to celebrate Jake's birthday.  The cake for Granny turned out so well that we decided to make another one for Jake's birthday.  This time we added a few more kit-kats and some swedish fish.

The Kirbys are heading back to Texas since their Spring Break is over.  We will miss them. We went to Chick-fil-a this morning for one last Hoo-rah with the Kirby-ton clan.

We spent the rest of the day at Granny and Paw-Paw's house to celebrate Granny's birthday.

Bryan wanted to do make something a little different than the normal cake he always makes.  We found this idea on pinterest.  It turned out great.

 It is the last day of the quarter.  End of quarter testing is over.  It is over a month until Spring Break.  What's a mom to do?  Let her kids skip school and take them to the beach to hang out with the Kirby's who are in town for Spring Break.

On the way to the beach we ran into Old Navy.  They are having a sale on dresses right now.  We found the perfect Easter dress for Hayden.

 On the way home, we ran into the newly opened gun store at the Eastern Shore Center.  Bryan thinks he might want a new gun, so I ran by to see what they had.  I took a picture because I knew I would never remember what I had seen.  This gun is not quite what he is looking for.

I took the day off from subbing to go on a field trip with Hayden and the ERD Technology Team.  We went to Faulkner State to compete in some kind of technology contest that involved everything from robots to a written test.  Most of the ERD students participated in the written test and presenting powerpoint presentations they had previously created.

We had plans to meet Bryan that afternoon and see OZ.  It didn't work out because the movie was sold out and we didn't want to wait for the more expensive show.  So we took pictures with The Croods display instead.

Although it is still cold in the mornings on the way to school, the afternoons are perfect right now.  The girls love to spend the afternoons outside blowing bubbles, exploring the "forest" next door, drawing with sidewalk chalk, and just enjoying the weather.  Can you see Hayden in the first picture?  She is there.

You can see a pair of scissors in her hand.  I'm not sure what she needed them for but her grin shows me it must have been fun.
